This pack is totally unique, usually this information is only available through attending one of my specialist workshops. The information is aimed at 8 - 9 year old's who are studying the Romans at school. Working through this pack will give you an understanding of the history, how the patterns and images were used and much more. Easy to work through and clearly set out.

Do as much or as little as you want of the exercises, some are to colour in, some are puzzles.

1. Roman mosaics - A brief history. A Roman mosaic information sheet gives you a short guide to the history of floor mosaics, how they were made and what images they had (1 sheet A5).

2. The Roman Rules; a sheet explaining about the Rules in Roman mosaics showing one example. This is something I teach in my specialist workshops and is rarely taught outside of Italy but can be seen in all the patterns and images in Roman mosaics (1 sheet A4).

3. Wordsearch

4. Find the pattern - a black and white drawing of a mosaic design where you have to try to work out what the pattern is (1 sheet A4).

5. Geometric patterns in Roman mosaics - A full colouring in sheet of different geometric mosaics. You'll need at least 3 - 4 colours for this.

6 & 7 Little Bird and Grasshopper - Two black and white drawings taken from a Roman mosaic of a bird and a grasshopper which can be coloured in or used as templates to do a mosaic using coloured card. (2 sheets A4).
