A detail from part of a larger, early 4th century CE mosaic at Aquileia, Italy. This shows how much detail there is in some of these mosaics that we might otherwise miss.

Pattern plus instructions and approximate numbers of each colour tesserae needed.

Suitable for 10mm tesserae

Mosaic size 27 (W) x 20 (H) cm

4 x A4 size sheets

1. Instruction sheet with a colour image to follow
2. Black and white pattern for tracing (2 sheets)
3. Tesserae number sheet with the approximate number of tesserae needed to complete the mosaic.
