Wave border pattern

Along with the double strand guilloche the wave border pattern is one of the most commonly seen border patterns in a Roman mosaic. 

16cm x 16cm, unglazed ceramic tesserae. These can be cut with scissors, see the video below.

A relatively easy mosaic to do this is a pattern that was commonly seen from Greek times.
